The MI074 is a shielded 1.8 m (6 foot) pickup lead designed for making safe measurements on secondary ignition systems. Rather than making a direct connection to these high voltage circuits, the MI074 simply connects around the insulation of an ignition component such as a plug wire to supply a suitable signal to a PicoScope automotive oscilloscope. It can be used with conventional ignition systems and most HEI and DIS systems.
